OLDHAM BECKLEY Entrepreneurs are the ambitious Summer Bookselling alumni who start their own companies. From bar napkin to profitability, OLDHAM BECKLEY Entrepreneurs benefit three different ways:
First, entrepreneurs sometimes receive seed money to turn their vision into reality.
Second, they benefit from the strategic nature of the OLDHAM BECKLEY investor network. Since companies in the OLDHAM BECKLEY portfolio tend to be sales driven companies, it helps to have salespeople-investors. These same salespeople-investors often end up working for the same company in which they invest.
Third, the extended Consultant Network offers young companies talented professionals in fields including: health care, insurance, headhunting, marketing, graphic design, business plan development, fundraising, legal work and accountancy. And most of them sold books.
